Apologetics Canada is proud to announce the upcoming Apologetics Canada Conference 2012. We’re calling this conference, “Think & Live” and it is about, “becoming a fully engaged disciple of Jesus Christ who loves God with heart, soul, and MIND.” To facilitate this, we’re bringing in an excellent array of speakers, both for our four keynote sessions, as well as a bunch of break-out sessions. There is even a special youth tract!
March 9th & 10th, 2012 @ Peace Portal Alliance Church in Surrey, B.C.
Engage topics such as the role of reason and the mind in the Christian life (Dr. J.P. Moreland, Loving God with All Your Mind), Jesus among the world religions (Dr. Craig Hazen, Christ in a World of Religions), questions concerning God’s character (Dr. Paul Copan, Is God a Moral Monster?), and the strength and role of evidence in the Christian faith (J. Warner Wallace, God’s Crime Scene). Breakout topics range from the common atheistic challenge of the danger of religion (Dr. Paul Chamberlan) to the existence of the soul (Steve Tsai), and include: evidence for God from morality (Michael Horner), the dialog between Christianity and science (Dr. Dennis Danielson), beliefs and behavior (Harry Edwards), CampusFire apologetics in high school (Jason Ballard), historical evidence for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus (Jeremy Livermore), the problem of evil (Sam Walbon), and why right and wrong still matter (Jojo Ruba).
